The solutions for the quick increase of carbonate hardness and Calcium contents.
In the marine water aquaristic the combined addition of kH+Ca 1 and 2 in a dosing of 15-20 ml/100 l aquarium water per week is recommended.
The liquids have to be dosed separately. Please do not mix in a measuring cup. In case of a combined use of kH+Ca 1 and 2 the ion proportion will not be moved within the marine water aquarium.

kH + Ca 1:The solution for a quick increase of the carbonate hardness.
The infeed of 50ml kH + Ca 1 increases the carbonate hardness by 2°kH with 100 l water. The ideal value is abt. 10° kH. The kH-value reflects the pH-buffer volume of the water. In case of a too low kH-value, there will be the danger of a pH-drop.
kH + Ca 2:The solution for a quick increase of the Calcium contents. 10ml kH+Ca 2 contains 200 mg immediately available Calcium. The ideal Ca-content of the ocean is between 400 - 450 mg/Liter. Please add kH+Ca 2 only in connection with the same quantity of kH+Ca 1 to the aquarium.

In the marine water aquarium a great quantity of Calcium and Magnesium is required in order to achieve an optimum growth of corals and red lime algaes. By the normally used materials in the calcium reactor the Calcium content, however, will be increased more than the Magnesium content.
By admixing of up to 10 % Magnesium pro into the used material, this effect will be compensated. This recommended admixing quantity of Magnesium pro should not be exceeded as this could lead to an excessive Magnesium value in the aquarium. When using Magnesium pro in the aquarium, the Magnesium contents in the aquarium water should be checked regularly.

sera pH-plus safely increases the pH value in both fresh and salt water. It is easy to dose. The carbonate hardness (KH) should be checked first with the sera kH-Test (see page A 33). This value should be increased to 5 - 10 °dKH in case it is lower. Then add 5 ml sera pH-plus per 20 litres of aquarium water in case of too low a pH value.

Check the pH value after 12 hours and add more sera pH-plus if necessary

sera aqutan clears the water, immediately binds harmful heavy metal ions and neutralizes dissolved salts and aggressive chlorine. It protects the mucous membrane of the fish due to its valuable vitamin B complex and skin protecting colloids. sera aqutan is ideal for reducing stress during transport and introduction of fish. In a 45 minute bath under threefold dosage, sera aqutan is effective against acute intoxications by metal ions and ammonia.

sera pH-minus safely lowers the pH value in freshwater aquariums. It is easy to dose. 
In case of pH values above 7.0 and KH values above 6 °dKH add 5 ml sera pH-minus per 20 litres of aquarium water. In case of pH values of 7.0 or lower and/or KH values below 6 °dKH add 1 - 2 ml sera pH-minus per 20 litres of water. Check the pH and KH values again after 12 hours.

Repeat the addition if necessary.

Plant fertilizer with iron, minerals and trace elements for all water plants. The plant nutrients in sera florena can easily be taken up through the leaves by the plants. The nutrients stay active in the water until they are taken up by the plants. sera florena is free from nitrate and phosphate and does not promote algae growth.

Sera toxivec^® contains the innovative QuickClean Formula and immediately removes dangerous pollutants threatening fish and filter bacteria from the aquarium water. The parallel efficacy against different kinds of pollutants makes it especially valuable. The quick effect of sera toxivec^® removes ammonium and nitrite in no time. Therefore it prevents the conversion into nitrate and immediately supports prevention of annoying algae growth. Furthermore, it removes aggressive chlorine from tap water. Also, it is effective against remainders of disinfectants or medications applied. However, Sera toxivec^® can do even more: It also binds toxic heavy metals such as copper, zinc, lead or even quicksilver/mercury. Therefore, these pollutants cannot harm the fish nor the useful bacteria within the biofilter. Thus the frequency of water changes will be reduced. All calcareous animals, especially corals, need calcium to grow and flourish. Why all 15 days ?

BIO DIGEST is particularly efficient the 2 weeks that follow its application. Bacterial multiplication speeds, different according to strains, allow to preserve these optimal purification proportions 15 days. If one wants to accelerate the process of purification it is not necessary to overdose but to near utilizations. Each week for example. Aquarium starting up :  1 ampoule per 60 litres + 1 ampoule for the filter. Aquarium purifier :  1 ampoule up to 1.000 litres every 15 days. Strongly shake each ampoule for 15 seconds to ensure that the bacteria in the points are included in the solution. Dilute with 1 litre of aquarium water before pouring the mixture into the aquarium and the filter. The purifying action of BIO DIGEST is strengthened by the association with BIO TRACE.

 One capsule per 200 litres every two weeks.

STOP AMMO is a product made from extracts of desert plants. These plants have developed a molecular system - glyco-compounds - whose chief property consists of binding ammonia nitrogen, which is extremely volatile and toxic. It stores it in a non-volatile, non-toxic form, and then synthesis it in the form of food, namely proteins and amino acids. To make it suitable for aquaculture, the saponins, which are poisonous to fish gills, have been removed. Thus STOP AMMO's essential property is to bind mainly the ammonia in aquarium water. It is useful also in water used for breeding and/or transport so as to reduce or prevent harm caused by non-ionised ammonia, NH3. STOP AMMO reduces the production of nitrites.

STOP AMMO binds and neutralises mainly the ammonia and the skatoles - compounds smelling of faeces, resulting from the decomposition of proteins - and, secondly, harmful gases such as sulphuretted hydrogen (SH2) and sulphured mercaptans.

The dose to be applied consists of 1 ampoule to 10 litres of water, the quantity normally used for a shipping pack.  With fish requiring different qualities of water, first dilute 1 ampoule in a litre of water and then distribute it among the bags.

As all the living being, the bacteriums need physiological and physico chemical conditions propitious to their activity. It is recognized that the deficiency in trace elements can limit the growth of purifying bacteriums .

A bacterial growth accelerator, complex of essential trace elements that obtains the best conditions for the development of the purifying bacteria. BIO REEF KIT Is composed of selected nitrifying and nitrate/phosphate reducing bacterial strains. The purification process effected by BIO DIGEST POND is not instantaneous.
It takes a few weeks, but it is natural and highly effective.

It has long been known in a reef aquariums that the inhabitants are constantly in need of calcium to build their skeletons and shells. Administering ROWAkalk to your aquarium will enhance pH as well as binding phosphates, therefore enhancing protein skimming.  ROWAkalk is the ideal supplement mix for producing kalkwasser.

Calcium hydroxide should only be administered after the calcium hydroxide (kalkwasser) mix has cleared.  The cleared and fresher the solution, the better the results.  Mechanical stirrers are highly recommended to dose kalkwasser.

To obtain the best results, you should use DO or RO water.  Dosing should take place at the lowest point of the pH cycle.  This normally being at night approximately 5 to 6 hours after the light have been turned off.  Attention should be paid to the pH when dosing as it could rise to dangerous levels if administered to fast.

The pH of calcium hydroxide when first mixed in RO or DI water should be 12.45.  The marine aquarium environment should never have a pH exceeding 8.5 and when over dosing kalkwasser, this could be exceeded if care and attention is not paid.

The value of bacteria in saltwater aquariums is one of the most under appreciated water quality parameter by aquarists. Planktonic bacteria provide corals with nutrients necessary for optimal growth and color. ZEObak contains various types of bacteria and when used in combination with ZEOfood, corals are able to take up the planktonic bacteria. ZEOstart 2 was developed for reefers who want optimum water parameters in a biological way. It promotes the reproduction of all nitrifying bacteria in the aquarium and is therefore very effective in reducing phosphate and nitrate, nitrite and several inhibitors. The skimmer removes up to 100 % more concentrated adsorbent. Bacteria dependent slime algae dissappears rapidly and a biological balance is re-established.

To start a new tank it shortens the inital phase enormously to about only 14 days.

This product is not only for the initial phase, it should be dosed every day in all tanks. It enhances the metallic colors on Acropora, Montipora, Poccilopora and Stylophora. Soft corals grow faster and open the polyps wider.

Dose directly into the water. Swich off the skimmer briefly if possible. Do not increase dosage of 2 ml per 250 gallons/1000 L daily – please not that it is highly concentrated. Overdosing is dangerous for all fish!
