Water conditioner for the safe increase of the carbonate hardness (KH) in fresh and salt water. 5 ml sera kH-plus increase the carbonate hardness in 40 litres aquarium water by 1 °dKH. The carbonate hardness in freshwater community aquariums should be 5 - 10 °dKH, in saltwater aquariums 8 - 12 °dkH. First check the carbonate hardness by means of the sera kH-test (see page A 62). Then add sera kH-plus directly into the aquarium. We recommend increasing the carbonate hardness by maximum 2 °dKH per day.

sera pH-minus safely lowers the pH value in freshwater aquariums. It is easy to dose. 
In case of pH values above 7.0 and KH values above 6 °dKH add 5 ml sera pH-minus per 20 litres of aquarium water. In case of pH values of 7.0 or lower and/or KH values below 6 °dKH add 1 - 2 ml sera pH-minus per 20 litres of water. Check the pH and KH values again after 12 hours. Repeat the addition if necessary.

sera pH-plus safely increases the pH value in both fresh and salt water. It is easy to dose. The carbonate hardness (KH) should be checked first with the sera kH-Test (see page A 33). This value should be increased to 5 - 10 °dKH in case it is lower. Then add 5 ml sera pH-plus per 20 litres of aquarium water in case of too low a pH value. Check the pH value after 12 hours and add more sera pH-plus if necessary
